Chris Walsh joined the Professional Golf Management Program in March of 2008. Chris brings over 20 years of experience in the golf industry which includes 15 years as the club professional at the Ohio State University Golf Club. Chris graduated from Ferris State University in 1991 where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing /Professional Golf Management. He is a Class A Member of the Professional Golfer’s Association.
Chris’ responsibilities include teaching various Professional Golf Management classes, managing the PGM Player Development Program, and advising and tutoring students as they prepare for the PGA’s Playing Ability Test and PGA Checkpoint examinations. He also assists the PGM Internship Coordinator with intern placement and monitoring internship sites.
